As many other MAM products the Aïska Poncho is a garment that you can use for a long time. Before and during pregnancy, during and long after babywearing period.

Classic grey poncho-coat

The Herringbone Poncho can be used as a classic loose cut poncho. The poncho has a modern design. You can wear it casual with jeans or chic for an occation.

Maternity Loose cut Poncho

The Äiskä Poncho is very appreciated by pregnant women. You don’t even need any kind of insert. You belly will fit just fine in this loose poncho.

Universal babywearing poncho 

The Äiskä Poncho covers you and your baby while babywearing. With MaM Äiskä Babywearing Poncho you can carry your child in a sling or carrier in front and back carry position. The poncho is is equipped with two zippers : on the front and at the back to take the neck hole larger.

Please note: MaM Äiskä Babywearing Poncho is not a baby carrier, but a garment for covering a wearer and the baby while using a carrier. 

Mid season poncho Äiskä

The Äiskä Babywearing Poncho by MAM is suitable from autumn to spring. During winter time is great for layering.

Accessories included : hood and scarf

Your Äiskä Babywearing Poncho is delivered to you with two accessories: hood and scarf/ head rest.

- Hood for the wearer

The poncho has a matching detachable hood made of the same fabric than the poncho. 

- Scarf / head rest

The scarf that comes with the MaM Aiska Poncho can be used as a classic scarf or as a support for the baby's head when babywearing while sleeping. To create a head rest simply fold a scarf in two and fix the shoulder buttons. You can use it also to shelter your baby’s head form wind and cold. To create a head rest put the middle of the  scarf on the back of the baby’s head and fix the both ends to the single button in front of the poncho.

Composition

Your Babywearing Poncho Herringbone Classic is made of elegant wool blend with luxurious viscose / acetate lining.

• Fabric composition : 50% Wool 50% recycled fibres (41% polyester. 4% Wool, 2% Poly-amide, 2% acrylic and 1% Viscose).
• Lining composition : 50% acetate, 50% viscose 

Product care

Hand wash cold or at max. 30°C. Wash separately. Shrinks in the wash. Reshape while damp. No bleach. Do not tumble dry.  Iron on low setting.

Size Guide

The MAM poncho is available in two sizes : S/M and L/XL. Choose the size according to your height:

• S/M up to about 167 cm
• L/XL up to about 185 cm 

Poncho length (from shoulder to hem at back) :

• S/M approximately 90 cm
• L/XL approximately 95 cm

Sleeve length

• S/M approximately 22 cm
• L/XL approximately 24 cm

The poncho covers the upper arm and elbows.
