The Mamalila Men’s Softshell comes with a zip-in panel. It’s fast and easy to use. You simply zip the insert and your jacket become a babywearing jacket! Now the jacket covers you and your little one. It will fit over any wrap or baby carrier.

Front and back babywearing jacket

You can zip the insert in the front and at you back so you can practice both front and back babywearing. The jacket have a removable hood for comfortable carrying on the back.

The jacket is also suitable for tandem carrying (one child on your front and your back), with purchase of an additional baby insert panel. If you wish to buy an extra insert please contact us by mail.

The babywearing insert included is equipped with a gradually folding hood with integrated head support function.

All year round jacket for man

You can wear this jacket throughout the year. It is even suitable for winter with an extra layer underneath. The jacket can be used in all weather conditions.

This high-quality jacket is made from flexible softshell. The jacket is breathable but windproof and waterproof (10.000 mm water column). Thanks to the drawstring hem the wearer is protected against draughts from below. The jacket has also adjustable cuffs for a snug fit. Adjustable neck protection protects also your baby from wind and cold. The jacket is fully zippable, so you and your baby stays warm and dry. The jacket's zippers are also waterproof.

Composition of Mamalila Softshell Jacket

The outside stretchy softshell material of you Mamalila jacket is comfortable to wear. The inside layer is made of light and soft fleece lining. The breathable but waterproof membrane keeps you dry.
3 laminated layers:

1. layer: 94% polyester, 6% spandex (FC-free imprgenation)
2. membrane: 100% polyurethane (PFOS/PFOA free)
3. layer: 100% polyester

Product Care

The jacket can be machine washed (max. 40°C) but with no fabric softener. Tumble dry after washing at a medium heat to refresh the water repellent properties of the coating is recommended. After approximately four washes you should re-impregnated the jacket.
